Alison Tetrick, a USA professional cyclist for Cylance Pro Cycling, will be joining the event!  Before Alison raced her bike all over the world, she grew up on a cattle ranch in Millville and graduated from Foothill High School in Palo Cedro.  After playing collegiate tennis, Alison found cycling and has since represented the USA at the Pan American Games and earned a bronze medal at the 2014 World Championships.  She is a National Champion and has won races in Argentina, Belgium, and all over the United States.  When she isn't racing, Alison works with Amgen's Breakaway from Cancer and serves on the Board of Directors for USA Cycling.  She is passionate about continuing to grow cycling as well as advocate for the safety and equality of the sport.

"I love the Redding area, and I am so excited to come back home to support cycling in Shasta County.  I started riding my bike on these hills of the Wildcat Gran Fondo with my parents, Steve and Bonnie Tetrick.  It will be extra special to ride these roads with my original cycling community!"
